We furnished our external beam radiotherapy unit with a latest generation Varian Vital Beam linear accelerator with newest technology integrations which is also the newest machine in Bangladesh. Besides we are about to install another Artificial Intelligence based linear accelerator which will be able to track the target volume and online tumor adaptation system which leads to a pin-point accuracy in radiotherapy treatment delivery without unnecessary irradiation to the normal tissues.

Our cancer center is in the process of installing a state-of-the-art brachytherapy machine equipped with a Co-60 radio-isotope. This advanced technology is primarily designed for the treatment of cervical cancer, offering highly targeted radiation therapy directly to the affected area. Brachytherapy is a precise and effective treatment option, delivering high doses of radiation while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
In addition to cervical cancer, the new brachytherapy machine will also be used for treating other types of cancers where this form of radiation therapy is recommended. Once operational, this technology will enhance our cancer treatment capabilities, providing patients with access to advanced care options that improve outcomes and reduce side effects.
